Wifi not working suddenly without touching any.

Hi,

I had no problem using wifi when following the guide below:

And it had been working correctly until last night.
I just came back and saw that wifi's nonfunctional.
Didn't do anything in between, so frustrating.

I can't reinitiate the device by either ip link set or ifup or setting /etc/network/interfaces or whatsoever.
System says it's unknown device or device not found.


UPDATED:
I just noticed that I connected in between OTG-USB port general USB port,
removing the connection between them solved the problem.
Interesting that only wifi got trouble.

This looks like a issue, with OTG plugged and test wifi is a interesting testcase, we will analysis the issue and let you know the result.

FYI, it's connection between apex and apex, so it's not awkward that it becomes weird.
But still have no idea the reason why only wifi got problem.

But actually, the Apex microUSB port does not support OTG function.
Is your purpose to use these 2 Apex as slave-master, to increase system computing power?

Our Apex GMSL2 version is on the way, which will support this feature through internal PCIE connection.

Nope, what I meant is that I connected OTG port with near by port (same machine) by mistake.
I have interest in making two apex as master-slave but not at this moment.

Is the GMSL2 version you're referring the model having more can ports?
I'm very interested in that model, have no information at all.

Yes, since the new version is in EVT stage, so no public information yet.
For can ports, yes, there will be 5 can FD ports. Hope it can match the requirement.

We did the following test, we connect microUSB port on Apex, to the other USB type A port on Apex.
But can't reproduce the issue.

Is our test procedure correct?

If I see correctly, it seems so. Connecting same cable to same machine.
I'm busy right now to make our system working on apex. Would revisit this issue once I have time to do so. Thanks anyway.
